Otherwise, a “Top Tier” 93 octane. I usually sick with Mobil, Exxon and Shell.

Yes, quality fuel is important. If a station looks old and pumps not maintained I will typically go elsewhere unless it’s a fill up or run out situation.

I wish I could find non ethanol fuel. The only thing I see is REC90 which is for boats and off-road vehicles.. no ethanol.

Costco 93. Top tier and always fresh. Shell if no Costco is around.

I don't have any problem finding it, but I pay a price for it, lol.

Citgo top tier 91 here. Have run 91 and 93 top tier and have noticed zero change. Just be sure whatever you run make sure it says top tier on the pumps and I'll link a logo you need to look for

Pretty much all major brands are top tier.

There was a list posted on the site somewhere in another thread.

If I’m not tuned or taking a road trip, 87 is what I run.

If the car can add timing due to higher octane, then I wouldnt call it a waste. Some people will gladly pay more for fuel if it means a few degrees more of timing.

87 to 91 is only $0.30 difference here, so $4-5 a tank is just an overpriced cup of coffee.

I use non ethanol 91 when in storage or sitting long term with stabil. Otherwise top tier 87. All burns the same.

Just a comment, but published HP numbers say measured with 93 octane. I'd say there is a difference, maybe just not enough for the butt dyno. Would be interesting to see real world dyno numbers between 87 and 93.
