So, I must have done something…pushed on the rubber covers and popped these wire from me to loose. How would I fix this? I can’t seem to get them pushed down into the rubber …. Any lubricant to use? I tried removing the cover, pushing from underneath, no luck there either…..thoughts or suggestions?

Squirt some WD40 around the bottom of the grommet with the wires going through it… then try to reinsert it into the larger cover where it needs to go.

i attempted that today, no luck - I actually got it seated in there, and then when reinstalling the larger cover, it just popped out….

They are just a crappy fit, I believe. The few times I have had the seat bottom out they are popped. I put them back in and the next time they are out again. Recently had the seat out and I pulled the big plug out and tried to work the little grommet in better but I’ll wager it’s out again the next time the seat is out. In any event, you have to pull the big plug out so you can work it from both sides. Caveat is that I do occasionally have people sitting back there and I’d wager that’s part of the problem when the cushion gets pushed down on the wiring.
