I’ve had my 2016 mustang GT PP for about 3 months. I bought it used from a dealership. The car already had an exhaust on it and i have since added and airaid CAI, and a Lund 93 octane tune. Again, since the tune about a month and a half ago the car has been great with no problems. I recently drove about 300 miles to visit my brother. The car once again was fine. The next day we drove my car into town and again 0 problems. The next day i got in the car to leave and it started very weak and nearly died before coming up to idle around 750. I thought nothing of it and left, got some gas, and when i pulled onto the highway at about 50% throttle in 2nd gear the car stuttered and would not accelerate. Shifted to third and got the same response. I turned around and went back to his house and picked him up to show him what was going on. After driving the car for about 20 minutes the stuttering was gone but idle was low (550-600) and the power in the low end was very weak, but the car ran fine. I decided to flash my stock tune to see if that would help and it made it much worse, car had a super low idle and was close to dying, any time i would touch the throttle the rpms would go down and it would almost die. I finally was able to very slowly ease into the throttle and raise the rpms to about 2000, where they settled down to 600 at idle once again. I did my crank relearn which was needed after flashing the stock tune. I had no codes still, took the car for a drive and noticed again it was weak in the lower end, but soon the rpms settled at 750. So I decided to leave again since the car seemed fine and it threw two codes - p0171 (engine bank 1 system too lean) and p0174 (engine bank 2 system too lean) after some research and not finding much I cleaned my MAF sensor, cleared the codes and left. Car drove great the whole way home besides low power at low rpms. About 3/4 of the way home it threw the codes again but drove fine. Got home and let it sit for 2 hours and tried again, once again the car was almost dying at idle and any throttle would cause it to die. After turning it off and trying to start it, it would crank and crank but never turn over. Checked the codes again and it threw p0627 (fuel pump A control circuit/open) as well as p0171 and p0174. loaded my tune back on and it started but would die. Reloaded stock tune Once again and tried to start it today and it cranked up completely normal before immediately diving down into low rpms, so i decided give it some throttle which worked and it idled around 600, Did the crank relearn and took it for a drive and the same old song and dance of the car running perfect besides having less power at lower rpms and a slight stutter was again happening, this time no check engine light but my tuner does read another p0171 code. Another thing i should mention that I’ve noticed is the normal buzzing sound when i press the clutch to start it has turned into a low rumble rather than a buzz. I’m stuck and can’t find much information. I was thinking maybe it was the fuel pump, but maybe could just be some sensor malfunction. Any input or info would help.

I think part of your issue is the air raid CAI, since I think it's gonna cause lean codes without the tune no matter what. So all of your stock tune adventures were probably influenced by that. But it really does sound like the fuel pump needs replacing, or at least an inspection since it gave an open circuit code briefly. Could be as simple as a chafed wire somewhere. There's an access panel under the rear seat so it's not too big of a deal to check on.

First thing you should do is find what the fuel pressure is at the fuel rail.
