people in this forum must drive with a very heavy foot. My first V8 was closer to this above with 3.15s and less highway. My current is a 10 speed with 3.55, mostly highway and a low day is about 355-360. Summer tends to get more 380-400 for me. Even when I’m playing around. Never got below 300 on a full tank in my GT or EB. Sitting at 24.6mpg since I bought it a year ago.For a stock GT;
If you're all highway it should be ~350
If you're all city it should be ~240
If you drive aggressively it becomes ~180
If you floor it everywhere it is probably less than ~50
This is from my car though I have a base A10 w/3.15 gears.i have a 2020 mustang gt and i only roughly get 170 to 180 miles from full tank.
i feel like this is too low. or is this normal?![]()
My old one was 3.15s. I’d say it was probably right around there too. Now have a 3.55 and drive more highway, so it’s hard to do a direct comparison. I just don’t get how some of you are getting under 250 a tank unless you’re going WOT at all times lolThis is from my car though I have a base A10 w/3.15 gears.![]()
You must drive gingerly, lol. I mean I'm getting 280 or 290 miles of range, but I always fill up at a 1/4 tank so I don't really count that last 50 miles.people in this forum must drive with a very heavy foot. That’s why I’m always surprised by these responses. Sometimes I do, but not always. Even when I don’t, the effect is pretty limited. Never seen under 318 between any of themYou must drive gingerly, lol. I mean I'm getting 280 or 290 miles of range, but I always fill up at a 1/4 tank so I don't really count that last 50 miles.
Any issues with the car along the way? I have yet to take mine on an extended road trip but want to in the future.6 spd or 10 spd, tire size, octane, rear gears, drive mode, 2 fast 2 furious driving or slow and steady driving, shift points on 6spd or 10 spd manual mode? All will factor into your mileage.
I had gotten roughly 29mpg on the highway from FL to NY in full auto avg 80mph for most the trip. ill get about 20 to 24 mpg on my way to work and back , 13 miles to and from. If I decide to do some "spirited driving" , or have fun against a Honda or rav4 turbo on my way to or from some places I'll can hit as low as 15mpg. running 93 octane.
It really all depends on how heavy your foot is, or what you are doing with the vehicle.
I have a 2021 gt with 355 rear axle only drive it for pleasure on dry days . My car is made of sugar and would melt in the rain!
