Be glad it wasn't an ecoboost, as you probably would have popped a hole in your intercooler (which would render the car undrivable!).

Wow, you sure did a number on that losermobile (that's what my wife and I have taken to calling Hyundais and Kias ). Wondering if that poor Rio's road going days are over (one can always hope!).

In the 'states, that accident would be attributed to you and you alone, with your insurance covering the entire accident bill (including the other car), as the person doing the rear ending is universally hit with a traffic ticket in this situation. Hope the Aussies are a little more lenient...

Hi Brent
Kia is to be written off. Yep same out here as far accident being my fault and my insurance will pay whatever the market value is for the Kia. At most say $2,000 and the repairs to my car. Won't be hit with a ticket as they take into account you past driving record. So all good there.

Photos of the car with the front off. The red bar that has the plastic absorption attached to is the only mental piece that will need to be replaced besides the front. Front chin spoiler is fine. Rest of replacement parts will be clips and plastic grill etc. Built Ford Tough

Sorry it happened but fascinating to see behind the scenes how the mustang coped with the accident. I hope it doesn't wind up costing you too much extra in renewals.

Having a mustang to drive around Australia, how lucky can one man be...

Sorry to hear about your mishap and good news no injuries.

Positive to see how well the 'stang held up to the impact. Poor Kia looks well mashed. Hopefully you will be back on the road shortly once parts get shipped which I hope is quicker than we seem to get them in the UK.

Luckily my insurance my insurance allows me to keep what is called my no claim bonus. So premium increases will be limited

Wow I love these designs. Thankyou very much Actually found the whole document. Something to add to my file on the Mustang. About 34 pages.

Yeh mate
All good. Actually called into to repairers today. It took a week from when the repairers submitted the quote to when the Insurance Assessor inspected the car. I was ready for a fight with Insurance as I had chosen the repairer on recommendation however the insurance assessor was full of praise for my repairer and did not hesitate in approving the repair work.
The repairs were only started this week. They had most of the parts within about 3 days. It is due to be completed by the end of next week. They are only waiting for a few small parts. I dropped in a US Spec Lower Grille that I purchased from Kevin Melbourne.
