that splitter was definitely not installed properly and that's why it came off the car.

I installed my own splitter on my R after reading about the lazy dealerships butchering the install. Because of all the cursing and force I had to use to that splitter to get it installed I can tell you that if it was installed properly it would not come off.

Glad you found a replacement. Take the time to do it yourself, don't rely on someone else to do it for you.

See the 4 tabs just above the shelby letters.. if those are not installed sounds like thats why mine fell off.

What 4 top bolts?

There are four bolts that go in at an angle of about 45 degrees toward the front.

You access the screws through the access hole (you can see floor through it in the picture) and the screws go through the tab with the hole toward the front of the car.
