Another Number Plate mount solution.
Not sure how it would stand up in the long term.

wow, very interesting. That 3M tape is very strong so it's not a bad idea.

My helmet mounted goPro takes hits from branches all the time when out dirt riding and this tape is super strong.

I think one would have to always remove the front licence plate if parked for anything more than a quick duck out to the shops.

Go pro mounts are so strong its insane, basically this is the same idea behind the craigs bracket.

Will definitely remove plates from my sto n sho. Too many idiots that will find it funny to steal plates. Here's to hoping I'll catch someone trying to do it. That would definitely be funny.

I'm seriously considering investing in a Trunk Monkey.

Yeah, add to the recipe a couple of GoPro mounts that could be used/sold and you'd have people stepping over each other to steal your plates!

That's assuming the idiots actually recognize one and know what a Sto-N-Sho is [emoji1] .

I love the look of my Sto-N-Sho mount and I figure anyone with a screwdriver can remove any plate on any car if they really wanted to.

Can someone who has their 'stang please do me a huge favour?
I need a photo of the underside of the front splitter, In the centre where a sto'n'sho would mount? And if possible, a depth of that bottom lip? (approximate is fine)

This photo may help. I took it today to show how I've had my Craigs bracket screwed to the underside of the bumper. Reason for this is that for some reason my dealer decided NOT to use the 3M tape that came with the bracket but to use ANOTHER double sided tape they thought would be better. They were wrong as it failed over the weekend and I nearly lost the whole shebang.
Me mechanic has now fixed the plate with adhesive AND two screwed plates. It will still be virtually invisible 'plate off'.
Let me know exactly what measurements you need but bear in mind my car is an EB and the splitter (I think) is slightly different to the GT.

Just realised that what you need is a shot of the underside of the lower bumper for the stow and show. Here it is. The splitter drops 45mm below the plate. ( on the EB). Let me know if this is not what you need.

I'll soon have my Lakin plate kits front and rear including the modified Kingpin Prestige plate kits all done by Philip from Lakin. I will post photos of all the parts when I have them.
Ian.
I've ordered the same setup Ian but I think you'll have yours before me. My car is also on the Tamarlane.

Looking forward to your photos.
