Front End Ticking Noise

The GT350 engines are all port injected are they not? I thought it was only the newer GT's that were direct and port injected.

Yeah, I meant port (my Explorer Sport is DI).

That sound is very different from what we would have associated with rod or piston noise in previous Ford engines.

Thanks - Frank. I guess that's good assuming I did a fair job of explaining it (I'll try to shoot a shareable video of it cold & then warmed up after a drive as soon as that's practical).
