My 2015 GT PP also had this clunking noise from the front passenger side. Thanks to this thread, I found the problem right away. The passenger side strut top nut was loose. I could wiggle the strut with my fingers by grabbing onto the 10mm post. I tried tightening the 21mm nut with a deep socket, but was unable to tighten because the center 10mm post needed to be held in place while tightening. After a little research, found a tool set on Amazon that will handle tightening the 21mm top nut while easily being able to hold the 10mm center post in place. Once I tightened the strut top nut, all noise is gone!
This "pass-through" ratchet set is a great addition to anyone's tools set and can be used for many other jobs. Fairly inexpensive, made in USA and was even delivered the same day I ordered it.
