When you actually get up close to that grill and look at it, its tough to mount anything to it.

I was playing around with the idea... had a black pony emblem and a little plastic bracket I acquired somewhere. I woulda had to like 3m the little bracket onto the back of the emblem or something...

its difficult to a) get your hands behind the grill to attach and secure it, and b) get the emblem to sit straight up and down and not on some kind of an angle.

At the end of the day I think I mock-mounted it just to see what it would look like, and decided I preferred the clean look of just the grill....

Thanks! Yes, I believe it’s a licensing thing regarding the pony in the grille. I could probably buy a pony and use some clips but I’ll likely leave it as is. I have a red coyote grille badge that I’m contemplating putting on, but I’m going to go with the clean look for the time being.

Any thoughts/opinions on a red coyote badge in the grille? I’ll post a picture of it too

I would try to get rid of the implied light cut-outs in the grille.
Then it won't look too much like a Mach1 knock-off.

Do you also want to have the side skirts and the pure plastic parts at the rear bumper painted gloss black?

PS: Debadged is better (as most Bullitt owners would say)...

The fog light spots in the grille are removable just like in the real Mach grilles. That look is part of the reason I went with the Mach style grille, so I’m not inclined to remove them or cover them up. I did leave my 5.0 badges on the fenders and the GT badge on the taillight panel, so I’m not trying to pretend I have something that I don’t really have. I just like the look.

I will probably leave the grille badge off but I have one if I change my mind. Might also help show that I don’t really have a Mach

I vote no badge. I think the car looks great as it is.

Anything between fully de-badged and OEM badging is 100% fine.

That’s the direction I’m leaning. Plus I’d have to take the bumper off to put the badge on and I’m feeling a bit lazy

Yea the surrounding piece stays. Not sure if a Bullitt grille would fit but it would be an option potentially

I think you have to modify your existing grille, if you want to get rid of it.

I would not expect OEM grills to fit.
Maybe you can get a second aftermarket grill from the manufacturer of the bumper for modding?

I recently found a bare OEM Mach 1 bumper in great condition, although without any inserts. I am currently ordering parts, and my question is this for anyone who knows the answer and can offer guidance. The car it is going on is a 2020 GT, and I want to know if my GT turn signals will work with the Mach 1 bumper. I know I have to get new brackets, but my question is about the actual turn signals themselves working. GT's have the fog lights integrated with the turn signals, while the Mach's do not, so i'm wondering if that's an issue? I was told maybe to get 2015-2017 turn signals, but could not get an answer as to why. As far as everything else, it appears straight forward and easily swappable, although friggin expensive lol.
