Car is almost done, possibly this afternoon. My guy just sent me a picture, looks great! Picture quality isn’t the best, I’ll be taking plenty when I get it back

I’ll take more pics later this afternoon, have some work to finish up. Here’s one I took right after I backed into the garage

It's awesome. The paint match looks very, very good from the pictures as well.

They did a great job. The grilles were not prepped for paint so he said it took them an entire day to scuff, primer and paint all the grille pieces. Mainly because each honeycomb piece had to be prepped.

It was sitting outside when I got there to pick it up, so I got up really close to check the paint match. He had to do some blending on the hood and door (passenger side fender was also replaced and painted as was the passenger mirror), but everything looks spot on to me. Only thing that sucks is I can’t ceramic coat it for 60 days as the paint still has to fully cure

Are you.... are you still going to drive it? (lol)

I do wonder what DFB would do in this scenario.

It’s my daily, so I’ll be driving it. As much as I don’t want to drive it around without any kind of protection, I’ll have to shut that part of my brain down for a while LOL

A few more pics of the full repairs. Also, that lower splitter sticks out quite a bit. More than I remember from the last time I saw a Mach HP.

My brother in law wants to do a photo shoot with my car, my dad’s Mustang and his GR86. Will probably do that in early fall. So much better pics to come down the road.

Similar experience on my end... I foolishly rolled into a high curb and damaged my front end... quickly looked at it as an excuse to go aftermarket.

Went with the I5 autohaus gt500 - pre painted. Put it on myself. They actually did a phenomenal job with painting it.

It became apparent that I should have had it done professionally - had some small fitment issues that I'm sure were invisible to most people, but glaring to me. Plus, the grills were kinda boring and basic.

Started seeing Mach 1s and got REALLY jealous of that look. Eventually decided to go with 777 Performance's Mach 1 front end. 1k for the bumper, another 1k to have a body shop paint and install it for me.

Absolutely love it. Added some bemaro decals over the openings for some color... I love the grills with the wider openings and the honeycomb shapes... I know I have a winning part when I never see anything that makes me second guess it.

What wheel/tire set up do you have? That looks really nice

Car looks awesome!
I'm jealous, I had some minor cosmetic issues that required my rear quarter panel to be repainted. Guy did a shit job and of course he's already been paid....... So he's jerking me around on making it right.
I was wondering about the pony on the grill, I haven't read the whole thread, is that a licensing thing with Ford?
It's looks fine without, everyone still knows it's a Mustang!
Is there an option to add it?
If so, are you?
I'd probably leave it alone, but just curious!

Thanks! Yes, I believe it’s a licensing thing regarding the pony in the grille. I could probably buy a pony and use some clips but I’ll likely leave it as is. I have a red coyote grille badge that I’m contemplating putting on, but I’m going to go with the clean look for the time being.

Any thoughts/opinions on a red coyote badge in the grille? I’ll post a picture of it too
