I’ve also been thinking of plasti dipping that area bc it might be easier.
plasti dip results in a very textured finish. Unless you got a "professional" spray rig and the skill to use. Wrap is dirt cheap by comparison and definitely on the easy end of the spectrum. If you're trying to do a 'pattern' or shape, get the special cutting 'string' knife. Then you can just 'slap' the wrap on top and use the string as your cutter.

Did you do this yourself or did you have someone do it for you? I can’t find a tutorial anywhere. I want to get a gt500 bumper but with ruby red paint it would be well over $2k so a DIY wrap might be a good alternative. I’ve also been thinking of plasti dipping that area bc it might be easier.
Did it myself with the knife less tape and Avery wrap

That’s an amazing job! You should make a video tutorial next time haha. Lots of people do this specific look but there are no tutorials anywhere. I just bought stuff to do my first wrap. Going to start with the gas cover, rear deck lid panel, and roof. The bumper seems more advanced because of all the curves.

Thank you..When I did that back in 2015 ..had no idea the gt500 would look so similar..when I traded in for my 19...it was more challenging to wrap that bumper cover .

Test on some simple things like the gas cover, and you'll kinda figure out how easy it is, and just prep, prep, prep, and prep again beforehand. Whatever little pebble or whatever is in the paint will just push up against the vinyl. Claybar helps get it as smooth as can be. Like others said, look into "knifeless tape" which is really just stronger dental floss, and if you get that where you want it first, place vinyl over it, and pull back on the knifeless tape, it'll cut exactly where you placed it, which then leaves the surviving wrap almost perfectly cut.

Was it a single piece or multiple?

I've done a lot of wraps and PPF for myself. Never a full car or truck, but parts; mirrors, tailgates, trim, door handles, hoods (those are difficult). The material is well under $100. I refused to pay $750 a body part (bumper) and learned to do it myself. I have to imagine you can find an ambitious start up vinyl wrapper to do that bumper for you for $250. $750 and it would/should be perfect. For $250, maybe a few minor creases, enjoy it for a year, pull it off, and you're good. No harm on the paint. I'm a hobbyist and figured it out. So can you. Here's some stuff I did...

I found someone who wrapped the bumper for $70. I wrapped the mirrors and gas cap in carbon fiber, and the roof in gloss black. Both Vvivid. The mirrors were tough and had to be done in 2 pieces each. The roof was also tough bc Vvivid is pretty tough to work with and is super tacky. I bought some tack reducer and will see if that makes installing Vvivid easier. I then plasti dipped the mustang logo and the 5.0 logos in metallic black. I like the new look but will probably re-do the roof with tack reducer.
