Additionally you can put a stage 3 blower kit in a 5.0 with warranty in tact and no blown engine

It's going to be really important that you drive a GT before making any kind of decision based on dyno claims. Your boosted Evo has a huge advantage at higher altitudes (like much of CO) and the Mustang may be wheezing in that thin air.

While I'm usually not into the Evo/Sti/WRX/Focus RS kind of scene, it's impossible not to admit the amazing capabilities that these little sedan/hatches have. I get the appeal...and it's a very different brand of fun from a V8/RWD muscle car.

The altitude is one of the reasons that got me in the evo in the first placing knowing a N/A car would ran out of air much quicker but after having ran into a couple of auto coyotes vs my FBO evo x, lets just say it was really close which surprised me for them being stock lol

There's something I forgot about boost leaks! Nothing like randomly losing power. And having to tighten clamps all the time. Those clamps by the intercooler and by the turbo are a peach huh?
Haha won't deny it when everything is going right they are a blast of a car to drive but you always have to be prepared:D

:cheers:That turbo spool is something that has to be felt. A lot of fun. Turbo cars are just a pain. Maintance wise. Which was my original point.

It's too bad most of you guys still live in the 60s and 70s thinking only v8s make good, reliable, power. Maybe one day you'll realize displacement doesn't mean a thing. Hopefully somebody brings you down a peg with your superiority complex.

Outside of the 2015 ecobooms, the only ones blowing motors have really aggressive tunes. That's it. The engine is reliable and will hold up. Why would Ford produce an engine to hold up for only 50k miles. You'd be a dumbass to believe that.

Do you know anything about cars??? Displacement doesn't mean a thing? Really??? Try adding 8 pounds of boost to your little 4 banger. What would that get you? About 260WHP? Try adding 8 pounds of boost to a Much larger displacement V8. What do you get? 550-600WHP? Come on kid just stop. I've did both types of engines. Your doing things the hard way with the 4 bangers.

Exactly. $ for $ if you want power. There is no replacement for displacement. It's simple physics.

Anyone who thinks the Ecobooms are only going to apply to 2015 is living in fantasy land. Just wait until more modded 2016s start hitting 30-50k miles

No shit sherlock. I was referring to a turbo 4 compared to an n/a v8.

Dollar for dollar, my eco can kill a stock GT for cheaper than the cost of that GT.

4cyl compacts had their place around 20 years ago. The scene was booming and the compacts could give the V8's a good run for their money at that time. People forget just how slow the old 2v 4.6 nonPE Stangs were, the old LT1 Camaro/Firebirds, hell even the Vette was not very impressive. You can't just judge an engine by the number of cylinders it has. There have been good 4cyl, and bad ones, just as there were V8's. The Coyote is an outstanding engine, arguably one of the best Ford ever produced. Honda, Mitsu, Nissan have all made very strong engines over the years.

The thing folks need to remember is had it not been for those efficient 4cylinder engines, we would still have 2v pushrod V8's with heavy iron blocks and heads, 8.5:1 compression and low HP/TQ. The technology advancements started with the small 4cylinders and have worked their way onto the big American V8's. That is a good thing and look at how much power and efficient they are now.

So displacement does mean something huh dipshit? And your still stuck with your tiny little limited engine. Just spend the money up front and quit trying to play catch up to a stock GT. Your throwing 2000 dollars worth of mods at being "AS FAST" as a GT. And you PISS your warranty away on a silly little motor that might explode! Your never going to win. The GT owner ads a 400 dollar tune and boom you just lost again. Now what? If your buying or building a car strictly to go fast. Don't start with 2.0 liters of displacement! And don't talk that dollar for dollar crap. Makes you sound like the ricer. I'm pretty sure you are! Dollar for dollar. I could mod a 35 year old fox body to destroy your EB for about 7 grand!:headbonk:

I think we are done here. Closed mindedness looks like one of your strong suits. Not to mention all the blanket statements you just made in your last post. A LOT of Mustang drivers are pure douchebags. Looks like I just found another one.
