For guys who in part bought a Mach 1 for the added coolers this would have been a serious alternative at a much lower price point IF you're into HPDE. Does it still have the MT82 though?

I wonder if that “FR3” kit had those diff bushings as part of the upgrade package - or if they are something added by FPRS outside that package?

I'm curious too. I see a snap ring and what looks like a solid aluminum bushing. Pretty curious...
I checked the bushings. They are solid.

I am not sure. You can call the school. They are really good to deal with.

Update on car. We have put over 400 miles on the car so far.
Things we have discovered.
A/C system has been completely removed at some point.
Car passed safety inspection but needs O2 sensors replaced to pass emissions.
There is an intermittent miss on cylinder eight at cruise speeds. No issue under load. We plan on full tune up so that will go away with new plugs and ignition components.
The car is a bit loud on the inside. We added sound deadening material to rear bulkhead and trunk area. That helped alot at highway speeds.
Driving comfort is good on highway. On back roads the car is an absolute weapon. We spend two hours driving north east missouri farm roads and it was amazing. It is comparable to our Gt350 but with a little less engine and less tramlinging.

Would appreciate seeing how you handled the sound deadening. I noticed Ford Performance didn't use the typical rear seat delete material like the 350R & CFTP cars. It's basically just a thin soft carpet without hardening material. I'm guessing that's why it's so loud. I'm dealing with the same thing. Curious what material you used and how/where.

Great to see all this info about your unique car. Very cool.

You guys w/ the Track Attack S550’s and deleted sound deadening:

You want to look for “jute backing”, which is a dense mixture of cotton and other fibers. Ford has used this type of deadening material across many platforms for many years.

I have absolutely no affiliation to this seller or the link, but this is what you’re seeking:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1253058269...TPBi-k-SAK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

It can be used behind the interior plastic panels, under carpeting, under/behind rear seating etc. It can be cut and shaped to fit almost anywhere. It can also be “glued” to back side of panels or under carpets if needed. Use the 3M spray adhesive, works excellent.

I’m sure other places sell the same or similar product, but what is seen in the link is what will help you all out.

If memory serves, I believe @Evolvd Brian replaced his sound deadening when he did all of his stereo work. Maybe he can chime in with what he used also. Not sure how much sound you’re looking to kill and if you care about how much it weighs.

As @MAGS1 stated I sound deadened most of my vehicle. It makes a significant difference in perceptible road noise. I know exactly what you’re dealing with as I had my rear seats out for a couple weeks while doing my audio install and before I got the trunk deadened it was pretty loud.

Very cool. I was unaware that they did something like this back then with the lowly GTs.
