Nothing worse than the same old threads about tire sizes etc
S THIS STILL FOR SALE? SO WHAT IF IT WENT UP IN OCT 2020!?!?
Hello; I do get the point. Some old threads are very redundant. That is why i try to do a search first. Sometimes I do not need to post at all. if I ever get a Mustang at a deal i can manage, I will likely want information about a spare tire. I know there are threads already existing.

Its not a law, you asked a question. I replied to help you understand.

Reviving old threads wastes people time who post here often and doesn’t help the OP.

If you want to go on record about some product, start a new thread and try to craft a review post that will help peoplle. Taking on ā€œ+1 to spacersā€ is just noise.
I’ve got news for you bubba. I can respond whenever I want to whatever I want and there’s nothing you can do about it. Stop wasting my time with your whining and complaining. It’s better to revisit an old thread than start a new one.

And he likely has news for you. He can comment whenever and whatever he wants and there’s nothing you can do other than make a thread like this to display you don’t like it.

Well I’m glad he has you to run to his aide. Haha. You guys are insane. Get a life, go away.

You started this thread. You're wasting your own time.

I’m done commenting
Anyone giving anyone a hard time for posting on an old thread is a bully and should be dealt with as such.
Bye bye ā€œforum copsā€

Just depends on the thread, replying to a 10 year old thread to ask the OP if they ever solved their problem likely wont generate a result most of the time.

I always check the OP's activity, if I see they're posting recently then I know there's a decent chance I could get a reply. If its someone who hasn't posted in years I'll typically send them a PM.

I've seen old threads come back to life and turn into a really good discussion though, some necro-posts are good.

Seniority sometimes creates Bullies in life , (especially when they have ASPD Antisocial Personality Disorder "sociopath's") .

You want to do a search first cool , read info and add information to an old Thread MO what it's all about "information" , or post a new Thread . This maybe will keep this forum active , in positive content relative to 6 th Gen Mustangs .
"Bullies" I had first hand experience here , with a down right horrible member in this forum , I did put an ignore on him , he put me in a very bad category , I didn't deserve that treatment . People with ASPD are everywhere, and they don't care who they hurt , and have no conscience or remorse on what they say or do .

I read a lot of content here , and some of the responses are mean , rude , and doesn't add any constructive information to the Thread or Thread's . So a redundant Thread on spacers or tires is more positive, than adding negative responses to new , old or current Threads , this shows who to ignore in here , and in life .
Usually I only read Threads like this , but the negativity and hurtful words added to Threads does get old and adds nothing positive in content relative to Gen6 Mustangs .

It doesn't matter what you do, someone, somewhere will complain. Just ignore them!
I'm confused. Am I supposed to be ignoring the people complaining about necroposts or the necroposter complaining about the anti-necroposters?

Just like in the offline world, there are control freaks that think they can control everyone. When people start offending or trying to control, I put them on ignore and never see their posts again. Makes this a much better place!
For me, instead of reviving an old post I would first try to private message the OP to hopefully obtain the answers I am looking for first. If that didn't help me out, I would then create a new post asking for current opinions, fix's etc. But either way, this is just a forum to chat back and forth with other members who share my same interest and hopefully avoid conflicts due to different opinions. Take care

And where is this stated in the "by laws"? Who decided this? Who is the authority in this regard? The more information posted in the threads the better for those doing research. Further any additional comments about the comments is just continually "resurrecting" the thread isn't it?
