WTF. response without comments

At first I thought it was an isolated mistake or pictures that don't show up. But its happening more and more: posts that do nothing but quote a previous post. And from different members.

WHY?

My scroll wheel can't take much more of this.

the response was in error and the person doesn't know there is a 'delete' button. Or the response text is intermingled with the quoted part and the person editing it doesn't have a clue how BBcode tags work.

It wasn't one person. And many posts like that in various threads.

I'll make sure to watch for someone inadvertently putting the response inside a quote.

I hope its not some new way to "like" something but in a more emphatic way.
