FIA Introduces Last Minute Rule Change Before 2025 Formula 1 Season

“A controversial incident from the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix could have pushed the FIA to edit the rule. Red Bull's Sergio Perez drove his damaged RB20 back to the pit and reportedly avoided a safety car deployment that could have hampered his teammate Max Verstappen's chances of winning the race. The revised article states:”

Footage on social media captured the moment Hamilton, seemingly unaware his car was still raised from the ground, stepped down from the SF-21, only to slip on one of the wheels which was moving freely.

I seen that on the Ferrari YouTube video but from the angle I couldn’t tell how he slipped. Luckily he’s used to jumping off the car otherwise he could have twisted his ankle.

Idiots say he crashed. I’d say he made an incredible save. Let’s replace him with Stroll.

This year is going to be a blast but next year is going to be insane. A good time to be a fan of F1!
We appear to be coming out of the doldrums. New drivers, constructors, rules and cars.

Honestly I feel that the larger Lego kits are a swing and a miss. The 3 year old technic McLaren was cool at the time. Mercedes and Ferrari look like crap (nose especially) but some how the Red Bull looks good. What gives?

I bought a Cada Alfa and that kit rocked! Their updated Kick Sauber is probably the most advanced build of all time. Lego is sleeping at the moment.

Also, check out all the private builds at Build a MOC and other outlets. Yes more expensive but way better.

And to all the future people complaining about cost. The aftermarket is supported by people like us. Until the big fish gets on board and pushes out the smaller higher quality builders we’ll continue to see the drastic difference in price.

FYI, I had a blast building the CADA Alfa Romeo with my son and daughter

I don’t normally watch practice but I did this time since the cars have been revamped, driver changes and rookies.
My opinion, Leclerc looks strong while Hamilton is still getting used to the car but went from P12 to P5 from FP1 to FP2. McLaren are also strong. Red Bull look weak. Lawson was way down than I would have excepted. Mercedes are also strong but George keeps making mistakes and Kimi is still new. I think it’s gonna be McLaren and Ferrari fighting then Merc and Red Bull fighting. The rest of the field will fight amongst themselves but Sainz will probably come out ahead. I would not be surprised if Sainz gets a podium this year.
Sunday’s race will be rain so it’s gonna be a toss up on who wins. Would like to see Piastri take his home race though.

What a qualI… Lewis isn’t looking comfortable yet, hopefully he will soon. Max doing Max things, RB looked horrible yesterday. Yuki showing he should’ve been in the other RB seat. And McLaren starting off where they finished, best car on the grid.

going to be a weird season for me as I love Lewis but can’t stand Ferrari, Love Merc but really dislike Russel, so hoping Antonelli does well. Pulling for Williams and Albon and Sianz. I like Lawson but really really dislike RB. Was happy to see Stake up there out qualifying a RB. Going to be an exciting season I think. FP3 I think the first 14 cars were with in a second of each other.

and finally Bearman… geez…. The new mazespin? Hopefully hell get on better tomorrow.

F1 grid: Starting positions for Australian Grand Prix
Hello; I did not get a broadcast of qualifying but did find the above link. After the hype of the last few weeks, I did not expect Max to be 3rd. Appears Max continues to be able to get more from the RB than his teammate. The Ferraris & McLarens are back to back on the grid which is of interest.

Heard it may rain for the race. Such will be a game changer.
