Hello; For some reason the "officials" of sporting events do go after some player harder than others. Saw it in bicycle racing. See it in F1 last few years. Max is used to the differences in outcomes by now. I could understand if Max had fooled around with a wife or few, but figure much of it is over Lewis derangement syndrome. A syndrome which resulted from Max taking a championship the affected feel Lewis ought to have won. I have seen the effects several times on this thread.

Utterly ridiculous. Max should not have been penalized, Charles shouldn’t either. It’s things like this that lead to the view that the FIA are biased towards or against some competitors. I don’t think they are but the randomness of these punishments for basically someone saying a naughty word… pi$$ off

Also. Bloody weather ruining the qualifying. Anyone else just got the coverage will start shortly’ screen? Close sprint this morning. Though McLaren had messed it up for a minute. How they trundled round for an extra lap before swapping the cars was foolhardy. As soon as Hulks car broke down they should have swapped asap.

Absolutely, 1000% against Max and Charles getting any fine. I loved that Max did his own press conferences outside lolol. Watching live sports for decades and it slips sometimes, to get fined and all is just dumb in my eyes.

What an insane day of qualifying and racing. I give Max props, he drove an incredible race. So did Ocon and Gasley. But Lando and George should have never pitted. Oh well, that’s racing!

Definitely wasn’t a boring race. Max was dialed in for sure. Norris stated after if he’d had started at the front Max would have lapped him. I can’t remember a weekend with so many wrecks, spins and carnage. We’ll be hearing about the cost caps the next few weeks with what the teams have spent on repairs this race weekend.
