Per auto news Ford plants to return to production 4/14. Let's hope this date sticks and we are through this. Wayne County in MI had cases go from 300-3000 in a day.

Thanks for the update. I had an 4/6 completion date that is obviously pushed back

OH3: For everyone's sake, I hope it pans out as predicted.

But, being a devout skeptic, I wouldn't bet a lot of money on it with nearly every state's infection curve increasing rather than decreasing.

Earl: Like everyone else, I hope you're correct but I'm gonna lay a side wager that it doesn't happen until considerably later, like June, if then.

If the areas where the plants are located still have an increasing infection curve, for one thing, the union won't bite on going back to work. Fact is, neither should the company or the government but it may come to that if the economic pressures become too great.

No plan survives the first contact intact.

All things start with a plan. Then comes plan B, then comes plan C. What I'm trying to say is that things are fluid. They (Ford) has to set some kind of target based upon the latest information. Here we are.

Maybe the 2020 model year is over?

Are you confident that the FRAP is one of Ford's assembly plants that is scheduled to resume production right after the Easter weekend?

:fingerscrossed:

I dont think that. However it may be reduced. The only people who know are the management at Ford.

Agreed. If they thought the 2020 model year was finished, I don’t think they’d continue releasing VINs.

As an European waiting for my 2020 S550 5.0 which was scheduled for production on April the 20th I am concerned about the outcome.
Ras, is your car shown correctly and completely on Etis, with a proper production date and all? Is April the 20th explicitly stated there?
I can only see some very basic info about mine, and instead of a production date there's just that 30.11.0002 placeholder, which doesn't mean anything. :frown:
