So apparently ive got a wheel bearing that’s seemingly on its way out on the driver side, so I ordered a 15-21 Ford Performance wheel hub kit with the 3 inch ARP wheel studs from Late Model Restoration. The stock picture shows it comes with open ended lug nuts for the longer studs, new hub assembly bolts, and CV Axle nuts (which appear to be the old style). Now I know stock pictures aren’t always 100% on what’s included, especially when there are revisions to specific parts. So, I also preemptively ordered a set of CV axle thrust washers, and the new style axle nuts just in case they sent the old style.

My main question is does this kit also include new thrust washers? I only ask because I had to order the washers from a Ford parts dealer and they notified me that they are backed up, and I have to go out of town most likely before the washers arrive. I would expect new washers since they aren’t supposed to be reused anyways.

No, don’t expect a washer in the box.

I suspected this was probably the case. Still strange since it's such a cheap part and you're not supposed to reuse them when you change out a cv axle or wheel hub.

They don't sell the nuts with the hubs either. Its a OEM parts thing, and not really an end-user buying experience like buying a clutch kit which comes with all the parts you need to do a swap, bearing, slave cylinder and clutch.

Well the CV axle nuts are 100% in the stock picture. Not that it matters since I won't be able to do the work until the washer comes in. but still, I'm sure it's just an oversight because I called around to local dealership parts departments and they don't even keep the washers on hand, much less have anyone ask to buy any.

I think I got a couple from LevittownFord online a couple weeks ago. They're one of the best Ford parts departments online, great prices, great inventory (but expensive shipping).
