I just talked a sales rep saying the tuner for the GT will be released the end of this month, while the echo boost version will be released during the Summer. AES certified mechanics and Dealerships can install - price will be around the same as previous versions at 430 dollars.

Did he say what the cars would get with this tune as far as hp and torque go and as stated before does this reduce the powertrain warranty from 5/50 to 3/36?

Thanks
Terry

Oddly enough, they said no release specs yet. I am not sure if they are yanking our chains or if they are in some kind of agreement with ford to not break the news yet.

I told them it was it odd that they did not have specs yet and they could only agree with "yep..." . I guess we can only speculate that the gains would be similar to what the ST got and previous GT versions had. Even so, I would likely want to shell out for a new intercooler, and if I do that, I might as well get a pro-tuned w/ cobb access port.

You would probably be much happier and get better gains with a pro-tune.

If they didn't give anything specific then they are just towing the company line. They don't really know
