Ford performance Cold air intake and procal tuner

Hey folks pretty new in this forum . I have 2017 mustang Ecoboost. 15000 miles on it . I live in New York. Just got the Ford performance package. Called couple of Ford dealer. They are barely know about it. And few of them don't wanna install this saying they are not taking any appointments now. So my question is anybody in this forum who is from NY have done this? And how?
I really want this mod . prolly I will end up with going local mechanic.

You can go to any garage you want to have it installed as long as the tech is ASE certified to keep the Ford Performance warranty.

When I had my 15’ GT I bought the Ford Performance power pack 2 and had my local ford dealer do it. I down loaded the soft ware on to my own personal lap top and brought it in for the tech to use when they installed everything. It’s also a bonus Incase you want to revert the tune back to stock.

They didn’t know much about these either but any competent tech can handle it. Beware the few dealers I reached out to the install prices were all over the place.

$300-$340 is an average price in So Calif.

It's easy. Set up your account before you go. Get the tune file and software on YOUR laptop and bring it to them. Do not let them use thiers or you won't have a copy of your stock map any more. Make sure they hook it up to a battery charger it will fail if the voltage drops to a certain level and it takes a long time.

When I had the power pack 2 installed I believe I paid about $125. Another dealer near my work wanted over $400. My install took about an hour to an hour and a half if I remember correctly but not totally positive.

I know this is a old post but if your on long island levittown Ford is a rousch and Ford Performance dealer. I had mine done for 150 at mustang magic in deer park. They are mustang specialists
