Ford is trying to drum up cash from extended warranty sales heavily right now. I own two newer Fords and they are sending me shit left and right. I personally never do (nor ever needed) them.

Partly, Americans generally take left turns faster than right turns, putting more load on right fronts resulting in faster wear than your left. After thousands of miles of driving, you end up with uneven tread wear.Ivan from what I have been told you only want to rotate front to back on the same side. Never from one side to the other. I think it has to do with keeping the tire direction the same. They told me it could cause separation within the tire. That was a long time ago and may have changed with newer tires. But I don't want to take the chance of a blowout. These are high performance cars so I expect more for up keep.
yeah I am trying it better understand it... I’m waiting for documentation in the mail on what exactly it all covers and when. All she sent me was that PDF flyer. It’s a minor form of perked compensation for the new car consumer so they’re not barking so loud... can’t have those FB and IG thumbs ups and likes head downward...that’s b-a-a-a-a-d...
I hope they also mentioned to you that the Maintenance Plan 4/45 runs concurrently with your 3/36. Also to note, it’s not unlimited oil changes, the plan goes by the recommended oil change interval for the vehicle. It does have the other perks that normally you would have to pay for on a service visit. So be sure to USE IT for everything it says it will cover before the time period expires.
I had both a 4/45k Maintenance Plan and the 7/75k Extended Warranty Plan offered to me and both plans put onto my VIN for my prior 2016 (which eventually resulted in a Buy Back).
Those “offers” are nothing more to quell the Consumer so that he/she feels like Ford has given them something for their enduring of new car troubles. Most don’t realize that all of those Maintenance and ESP plans are designed to run concurrently along side of the 3/36, starting as of the date of purchase of your vehicle.
It’s good your CSR did make such an offer, not every customer is offered compensation. The offer is extended depending on the severity of the Consumer’s complaint for issues with Warranty work performed or issues with Dealership XYZ.
Like I noted above, be sure to use every bit of that plan for what it’s worth!
