I do not think there is anything new in that article.
The EB w/PP already came with upgraded brake calipers and larger rotors.
A lot of that “HiPo” is overhyped regarding only the regurgitation of already available (and applied) S550 production parts.
Plus a lot of the public is unaware of what the current 2015-2019 EB PP option package contained as far as upgraded parts over a base EB - so the marketing campaign is foo-fooing it up for the general and uninformed buying public.

As CJ stated, EBs with the performance package have been getting the base GT brakes for 5 years.
