Even in normal driving situations the stock brakes did not inspire a lot of confidence for this being a sports coupe. Stopping distance at speed felt like a long and drawn out struggle. Once you feel the initial bite of the 4 pistons, I was amazed. I feel very safe knowing I can stop very hard should anyone do something dumb like cut you off, pull out in front of you or slam on the brakes, avoiding an accident.

On the flipside, almost anyone can and will ram you from the rear because of your insane stopping power so watch it when you hit the brakes hard in traffic. Recently the PP Ecoboost, in stock form, shit the bed in a track comparison with the Camaro, but was so superior in the braking department even Randy Pobst was amazed.

Get your hands on a set for cheap, they are so worth the upgrade and so inexpensive.

You don't need 4 pistons in the rear. Even the GT PP with Brembo's doen't get 4 piston rears.
