3 to 4 clutch.
3-4 fork? Just asking because this seems to be an escalating problem. Aluminum vs. steel shift forks......

Any of you that have sold parts to Ford, when something goes wrong they demand that the supplier identify root cause and do an 8D analysis. I asked Ford to do one on my transmission failure. If they could demand it from me when I was the supplier and they were the customer, it is only appropriate that they should do the same for me since I am now the customer.

No clue. It started bogging down and would almost die when it would shift. It is a 6R80.

Had a 13 Viper in the shop for 46 days. It was almost a buy back.

They don't make a PP2 kit for a 2018, only 2015-2017. I should have pointed out that it is a 2016.

If my MT82 grenades, I’m not even going to attempt warranty coverage since it’s a good reason to upgrade to a Tremec or built 4R70W.

If my MT82 grenades, I’m not even going to attempt warranty coverage since it’s a good reason to upgrade to a Tremec or built 4R70W.
Being a stock engine with no unauthorized mods, the stock trans should hold up, and it hasn't. I am not pissed that it broke, I am pissed that they can't fix it because there is a parts shortage and no one at Ford really gives a shit.

2 more weeks, so my car will be there for 5 weeks. 3rd promise date, they missed the other two. The "district manager" you could tell was reading a script.

To the OP’s credit I can see why he is pissed. When we thought it was a 2018 it is understandable why parts may be in short supply. But a 6R80? A transmission that’s been around since 2009? A transmission used in all sorts of cars and trucks like the F150. And being phased out? The place should be awash with compete transmissions and parts? This make no sense. I does no pass my sniff test. Somethings wrong here...

My bet is that if it was a 2018, they would have just put a new one in because they would want to know why it failed and I would have gotten my car back in a couple days.
