Yes, I installed it in my car a couple of weeks ago. Much brighter in the trunk now.
the only issue I have with the kit is that the "tape" to hold the wiring up keeps loosening.

Is possible but the location of the light is different in the vert so the wire might not be long enough to reach the top. Plus you have to find a way to hide it behind the trim which takes up even more wire length.

Get some zip tie blocks like these. I used them secure my custom speaker wiring to the deck lid and the 3M tape holds like a champ.
