I must say after countless hours, and research I was sold on ordering a Black 2015 GT with PP.... Nothing was changing my mind no matter what I looked at. Until today... My dealer texted me, and told me they had a premium gt in because i wanted to see the interior in person. He had a Competition Orange, Ruby Red, and Race red on his floor. WOW..... thats all i can say. I will be 100% getting a competition orange GT PP hands down..! If you are on the fence at all on color, or if you just have some colors sitting at a dealer near you I highly suggest take the trip, and check them out!! lol sorry for rant just had to say it for those asking about colors. Pictures will not do you justice my friends!

You might still think the same away from show room lighting and you might not.

I had originally ordered a Magnetic GT and ended up with CO. Changed my mind as soon as I saw it! Congrats and enjoy your CO!!!

Yeah I suppose. I would have to see it on the streets but I have a gut feeling I'll dig it still!

It all depends on the lighting. Don't judge by the showroom, because I agree it looks awesome there. However out in sunlight it just looks like faded red to me.

Look at this video where he is standing next to it outside, looks worlds different than how it looks in indoor showroom lighting. A lot of the car takes on a flat pastel faded look to it, whereas in the showroom it just pops and is gleaming:

You may like it even more, lots of love for that color, just a for what it is worth.
For better or worse, it will definitely look different.

I've heard nothing but good things about CO. That said I've heard nothing but good things about any color. I hate that you can't get redline interior on basically anything but the 'base' exterior colors, not that I would want it on an orange car, but still. I think the redline interior is just a work of art, and it's literally the only thing keeping me from getting a TY or CO car (though I would pick TY over CO). Comes down to which side of the car I will be looking at the most, the inside or the outside!

All colors on this car look great IMO, even those which I would never have considered before (i.e. DIB, HN, white). As I have said before I feel like I could spin a wheel to pick my color combo and be happy with the outcome.

I had a similar experience. I ordered a Black GT Premium Convertible from my dealer. I then went into the dealer to get an oil change on my Explorer and they had triple yellow, deep impact blue, Guard, and Magnetic fastbacks. All were outside in the sun looking beautiful but I was still determined to stay the course with black. Then I drove by another dealership on a rainy day and saw Magnetic again, it was still beautiful in the gloomy light. Long story short my Black Vert will now be Magnetic.

The orange is definitely a color you have to see in person. So many pictures make it look red and that is not the case when you see it in real life. Ruby red and the orange surprised me so much once I saw them they turned into my 2 favorite colors.

And that's a video, on your computer screen. That's two strikes against it being a decent rendition of the color. CO is an amazing color. Not at all faded red or pastel.
