Not a car, but my SIL got me the vintage radio for Christmas. Already got it assembled.

Someone needs to explain to whichever "AI" image generator made that that lego bricks don't bend ;)

Well I took a chance on some Temu "lego" kits, some were hits, some were misses.

Here's what $20 buys you:

Nothing special, the front wheels don't even turn (steer), the instructions were in a tiny booklet I could barely read (so small).

Took another shot at a slightly more expensive kit ($70 CAD), which turned out much better (other than I've never seen a motorcycle with exhaust that exits from the bottom of the engine 🤔 )

There was one piece missing from this kit, the lever for the clutch,(or I lost it, but I think it was missing) and like 2 dozen parts left over (some even included in a bag labelled "accessories"). The booklet was clear, the stickers were much nicer than the cheap kit.

Overall it was 90% as well done as any of the other knock-off kits I paid much more for, so I have another bike kit coming.

Not the biggest of models, but my Fathers day stuff :

The minifigure is a new (to the UK) Lego shop option where you can fully customise a minifigure - mine has the kids names on it though, so it can stay hidden in the box

McQueen has a lot of stickers (for the size of the model), which always give me stress trying to get them perfect lol

It has a little bit of underside detail :

As a kid I had two favourite indoor toys, Lego being one of them.

When I finish McQueen's friend (Francesco Bernoulli) I will post pictures of them together - they are approximately the same scale, and Francesco is from my other favourite indoor childhood toy range :sunglasses:

I also picked this up :

The back of the swiveling thing has the traditional Lego logo done in enamel paint fill.
