I'm undecided on what exhaust system to buy (cat-back), Came across Flowmaster Outlaw CatBack Fastback GT 2015, I only have one concern, the Mid Pipe, I wanted an X Pipe as it gives greater performance capabilities later down the line however it's marketed as an X yet looks a lot like a H pipe too me, what does every one think,

Also if anyone else has any suggestions on catbacks I'm open to ideas! :cheers:

I've never been the biggest fan of flow master so I went with the Corsa Extream cat back with the double x pipe it was definitely worth the money.

I have read a lot of "drone" complaints regarding the FlowMasters on this forum. Worth a search if you are worried about that.

Not too bothered out drone,more interested in performance and weight saving

I have flowmaster and can't delete the resonator without nasty drone. Will be upgrading eventually because of that. Price was good though and it's a nice sound with the stock resonator in. Deleted it for 1 night. ...

I only deleted my resonator for one night and the drone was so bad it went back in the next morning... I took my wife and kids out and she had a headache and the kids were crying. I don't recommend it unless you're going to leave the res in from personal experience. Spend the money and get a better kit that people have had good results with. I did mine before a lot of these kits were available.

Interesting, apart from the drone what else do people think, it just seems too sound so much better however in real life I assume it may be different

I'm wanting the outlaws to. I have the MBRP street on now. The reasons I don't like this system is the idle is to low and when you get to 3k RPM's it gets raspy. I think going with the outlaws would take care of the low idle and some of the raspy sound. Now with drone I know this is different from person to person. People say after some break in time the drone does die down some. The exhaust system has been the hardest thing to decide on.

Outlaws are the best sounding axel back. Do not run it with x or h pipe. You will go deaf and so much rasp with h and x. I have tried both. Fully stock Oem gt exhaust with only outlaws sound really good with no rasp at all. Deep muscle car sound.

Thanks! Don't know if you have heard the MBRP street cat back? but do you think idle is louder with just outlaw axle backs? I still have my stock system. I just want the car to idle louder. I just don't want to drive the neighbors crazy at 530. Thanks for the reply since you both exhaust systems.
