Looking for a floor jack adapter to replace my diff. Storing a motorcycle/transmission jack just isn't an option for me since it will very likely see 1 use. Renting a jack seems problematic (seems folks don't really rent these often). I found some transmission adapters for floor jacks but the reviews are all the same: works good if you are holding it in place but won't clear the vehicle on jack stands (adapter is too tall). The differential may be a different story but I honestly wouldn't know based on pictures. My guess is it won't allow the diff to clear the subframe.

Searched some biker forums and found some DIY solutions though I lack what is necessary to create what they did (missing the welding equipment and skill). My saddle is too small to risk lowering the diff with it. Very likely will fall after the last bolt is removed or once you start to lower it.

Ive pulled mine with a standard floor jack. No issues.
