I'd still be careful with those. They left swirls in my paint on my old truck, when I was in my early days of detailing. You want good quality microfiber from Korea, not China. Check out Adam's towels, they have a 15% off and free or $5 shipping thing going on now.

I know it sounds ridiculous to think that towels are this important, but think of it like tires. You only want the best touching your paint and you want the best tires holding your car to the road.
I use the ones the OP is speaking of from Auto Zone until I get mine ordered. The biggest thing to remember is to not use the edge of the towels from there. Fold them over! That is where your scratches and swirls come from and as soon as a side gets dirty flip to a clean side. I am however going to order some Chemical Guys towels or Adam's towels myself soon. My quality towels I have aged and are now losing fibers so I chunked them. Just waiting to order now....

Used to do the "2 Bucket System" but have recently moved to a one bucket. Now I use multiple wash mitts, setting aside one when it gets dirty and using a clean one. This guarantees a clean swipe at all times. Even with a grit guard, your rinse bucket is full of dirty water. Anyway - love it.

1. Power rinse (not too close with the pressure washer)
2. Snow foam with a top quality snow foam (leave to do its dissolving contaminates bit)
3. Rinse
4. Take the back of your hand and gently rub over panels before deciding to clay (if rough to the feel, use a good quality clay bar with plenty of lube.)
5. Use snow lance to cover car in shampoo (after clay bar if required) ( lots of options on type of shampoo)
6. Snow foam again (after clay bar)
7. Rinse
8. Dry (as recommended, only use quality drying mitt/microfibre
9. Polish, seal, wax

If you're not dead after that, stand back and be amazed.

My dealer, will not be touching the car other than taking off the protective sheets.

Another option, if you don't have the time or materials, is to book a recommended detailer to prep your vehicle at the dealers on delivery.

The above 1-9 may be mixed up ( I've had a beer or seven now, day off!), but it'll be worth it :)
