Thanks Alan! Hahaha yeah it is already going to be hard enough transitioning from the Autostrada (no speed limit) to U.S. roads. Plus add the V8 to that and I am sure it is going to take a lot of willpower and discipline to ensure that I don't get in trouble for speeding. Thanks again man!

Just found out that my car was delivered! Not bad at all for a 14 January order date. Unfortunately, I don't return to the States until 22 March (with a 23 March pickup)- but at least I know it is waiting for me!

On Friday afternoon I received notification that my Mustang was built! Yesterday (Saturday) it was updated to being in transit! Ahhh I cannot wait! Ignore the delivery date - that was a worst case scenario estimate given prior to placing the order.

From what web site or source did you get this notification ?
Mine is supposed to be built this week and I'd like to keep track of the progress.

I got my updates by calling the customer service number on Ford's website and gave them my VIN to get an update. I also get updates online since I purchased the vehicle through Military Autosource and they have their own online tracking program (although it is slightly delayed at being updated). If you PM Deysha (FordService) with your VIN, she will provide you an update.

We might actually end up getting our Deep Impact Blue cars (that we ordered on the same day) around the same time, then ;) My car is scheduled to build next week, and delivery times to my part of the country have been averaging about 2-3 weeks...

Nice! I am sure you are ready to jump in that DIB Mustang. It is kind of cool to know that we got the DIB prior to Ford discontinuing it in the 2017 models.

I just ordered mine today and was told 8-10 weeks. I don't mind, since it's still winter; but if it came a little earlier I'd be cool with that too

I know! I was nervous that I wasn't going to get it in time to pick it up prior to heading to training. But Ford and MAS surprised me to the point where the car will be waiting for me for close to a month. Better too early than late.

That would be nice if you got it closer to the 6-8 week point. There are so many different experiences with the time frame that it seems like a complete luck of the draw. I look forward to seeing pictures once you do get it though!

Yes, mine was delivered in middle Georgia (Macon). Awesome dude! Any day now you will be getting Mustang! I would think that is a very good possibility that it was on the same train. Make sure you post pictures and make me jealous since you will be taking delivery before I do! haha!

Thanks for trying Deysha! Nah, I'll stick to Palm Beach Motorsports park. I95 is a jungle. I have to keep my GT pretty, so that means keeping it away from I95. ;)

With a little luck, I'll have my GT this weekend. It's the end of the month, so I'm sure
the dealer wants to get it to me ASAP.:cheers:
It should be at the rail yard in Miami by today I'd think.
