Anyone else had their first MOT yet, mines next month, what to expect ?

Just had mine done. Slightly late too as I don't recall actually getting a reminder through from DVLA.

Straight in and out.

Was meant to have mine last month but weatherdidn't allow it. My exhaust is pretty damn loud and I expect no issues

Had an EBM owner do his MOT back in NOV with a mf comp catback (loudest catback for an EBM) - he passed 0 advisories.

Had mine done two months ago - done at main dealer at same time as warranty work. No issues. No warranty left now though - scary!

Can't believe it's been 3 years already (38 months now) plus about a year build-up on this forum. Doesn't seem that long ago at all.

Were you tempted to take out an extended warranty?
I'm thinking I may do it when it goes in for the Mot and service

This might be a good idea actually. I'd normally say no to such things but given my luck with the GT, it's probably going to be a must have.

Anyone know the costs?

EDIT: probably something I'll seek as part of my compensation - for all the f*king around Ford have done.
