Airflow - I live in CT and also have the Nokians tires on my ecoboost. I live on a rather steep hill. While I did not venture out in horrible conditions this winter, the few times I tackled the snow the tires did a great job. Several times I was out with up to a couple of inches on the ground and had no issues navigating up or controlling down hill.

I have thoughts of maybe eventually driving my Mustang in the winter but i live deep into the mountains way out in the middle of nowhere and the roads are the worst you could ever imagine with hair pin turns and very steep grade for 2 miles.. Wounder how the Mustang would perform in snowy and icy conditions in that terrain day in and day out leaving my house every day? I have a Performance Pack 6 speed Manual.... Wonder if a good set of snow's would make it drivable even in those conditions?

That is great to hear as hill traction is a big concern of mine. Appreciate you sharing. Do you mind me asking where you purchased the tires?

I got them from Lemay motors in Orange. They were awesome. Probably going to use him for service going forward.

New member here. Looking to buy a new 'stang next year, first I'll have owned since 1995 (I've owned a '67, an '80 and an '89 over the years). Back then I lived in Oklahoma & Texas (hence the name). Now I live in Pittsburgh, and hills (along with lots of snow and ice) are quite a big concern here. Most especially my own driveway. The drive is steep enough that it can be difficult to get up to get out on icy days since you're going from a standing start.

SO my question is whether anyone on here can relate how their car did in that circumstance. I'm trying to combat my wife who complains that a Mustang "just isn't practical in the winter" because it is RWD.

Little of a winter I experienced (picked up Feb 22, still had quite a bit of snow) it was fine with P Zero Neros of course until I hit the ice on the incline (got stuck behind 4 Runner that couldn't move either so I knew I was screwed). Overall once you get experience driving it, it is as good/bad as any other car out there. With winter tires it probably can handle pretty much everything short of plain ice or monster snow storm.

Picking up a set of AMR tires from American Muscle for 160 a pop along with a set of 245/45R19 Michelin X-Ice Xi3s. Think its the cheapest option.
