True...it's actually more since my OTD price was $37,945...so compared to $58,345 it's actually a savings of $20,400 and that is without ADM.
My bad... I guess if you're comparing it to the tech pack then yes you're correct. I was considering your premium GTPP vs a GT350 in general.

So you're looking for advice, huh? Here's some advice, it's inappropriate for you to go in to a thread dedicated to new GT350 deliveries and derail it by talking about how happy you are that you saved some money on a lesser model. Here's some more advice, nobody who frequents these sub-forums and is getting a GT350 cares about your GT or how much you "saved" on it.

I say that with all due respect.
Well I'm glad you said it with all due respect, Ricky Bobby.

I assume this has been covered before, but the seat inserts on the tech pack are Alcantara, correct? That's what it looks like to me.

Nice. Didn't know anything about the aluminum vs steel braces or that the tech pac got one. Good to know.

Or just $11,000 for the base GT350 which would still have an upgraded suspension compared to a GT, better brembo brakes front and back, better engine, Recaro seats, better and wider wheels/tires, new wider front end, full exhaust with X pipe and controllable actuators, better transmission, real diffuser, lighter components within the build, and better residual value.

I'm probably missing a few more things. But def worth it for $11k even if you don't use it.

If you don't track it, you don't need a track pack.

I really dislike how people who bought the GT or GT PP troll the GT350 threads and make comments on how their cars are cheaper or how they can modify their cars to out perform a GT350 or R. I am sure such comments will continue. To me the GT350 is a great car and a great bargain for what we are getting. I have a tech pack on order and really appreciate seeing the pics in this thread.

Would have loved it if they embroidered the rear seats as well. Oh well, I won't be sitting back there anyways.

I don't know if its worth 18k difference. but I guess most of the difference is on the specialty built engine.

Nice to read about the gt350 with tech pack as that's what I have on order last 4 of vin 0743.. It seems the car will be everything I want and at a price I'm happy to pay. There may be faster cars, Like the R, and there may be cheaper cars which also give a thrill like a regular gt with pp. But ultimately I'm thrilled

As a note I take no offense a those who happily post that they are happy saving $$$ and driving their GT. I drive a 2011 gt everyday and I absolutely never get it to 10/10ths. So I get it. Good for you. Use the money for something that enriches your life. For me, I'm going to enjoy exploring whatever percentage of my gt350 I can safely use $20k be damned!!!

I don't understand those who don't want, don't think the GT350 is worth the money.
If thats your opinion fine, 75% of the forum is dedicated to Gen6 mustang.
Plenty of places to read, write and express opinions about your car.
To come to a sub section and bash those who see the value and want a GT350
just seems sad, surely people have better things to do with their time.
I don't go to other parts of forum and bash people who buy a V-6 Mustang or
any other version.

It's obviously worth it to the folks with the GT350 on order, and that is all that matters

If you aren't into all out track performance, then I can understand passing on the car. But that doesn't take away from the car's performance value, its the engine and much more for sure.

I understand that everyone wants to justify to themselves that they've made a good purchase decision. Funny that some people need to do it by posting in a forum for a more expensive car, that they really like their choice to go with whatever they have.

In the end, the chances are good that you bought what was available at the time at a price you could afford. No need to qualify it with other people by posting it constantly because those other people likely don't care.
