Finally took delivery!!!

So after tearing around town today I still can't wipe the smile off my face. Left it in sport mode and the car felt so much responsive.

Visited a mate today who's a V8 head, he's been give me grief at every opportunity in regards to buying the turbo. Let him take it for a spin and he was very impressed.

Everything goes back to default mate. Not sure if there is a setting to avoid this.

Yes Rob has an issue in regards to the rear window and parcel shelf. Seems the parcel shelf would get in the way during the install as it presses up onto the window not allowing for easy placement of the film.

Rob is trying to figure out how to remove the shelf.

Well lads, woke up today full of optimism regarding my purchase and I wasn't disappointed. I'd never seen a magnetic in the flesh and boy it looks fantastic!

The drive is smooth and refined, obviously doesn't throw you to the back of your seat like a V8 but there is plenty of power. Those that are waiting for a ecoboost won't be dissapointed.

I felt like royalty driving home, people were getting their phones out for a pic, others were giving us the thumbs up.

The wait was painful but totally worth it.

I'm interested in knowing more about the mounting bracket you have on the front there.

My steering stayed in sport after I started up again

Sport mode is selectable with auto transmission so instead of putting it into D I put it into S. Very convenient.

So does this mean it will still shift as a regular auto, just revving out higher RPM between changes or are you required to use the paddles in S mode?
