No move on my 11/18/15 order yet. I drove by a Porsche dealer yesterday and stopped in. A 991 Carerra S with 5K on the clock looked awfully nice to me. I'm getting antsy...
LOL don't do it be patient.....I look at those cars everyday....but we got to wait...

Donson.....We are in the same boat........

Order went in summer last year.....

I noticed you posted on a Friday the news a few weeks back that your car has been submitted by your zone manager for a build date. We'll the following Monday a few weeks back (from your Friday post), my guy told me the very same news, that mine was pulled by the zone manager and is going in for a build date.

Yet........No change, no change, no change. I've been calling FP almost every other day ever since, and getting the same thing you are Unscheduled, Material Hold.

Our cars.....as well as many others...... may all be in the same hold batch, that may very well all pop at the same time.

Hopefully next week brings some new info.
Cheers:cheers:

I spoke with Isaac at FP yesterday...My R model has been moved to "unscheduled clean"
He told me to check back next week and hopefully we will have a build date and maybe even a VIN.

We shall see......

Got confirmation today that my car was built... Got my VIN, so now to find out my chassis #.
Thank the good Lord above...[/QUOTE

Congratulations as it has been a long haul since you ordered your R model.

Having said that last night I stopped by to say "Hello" to the owner of your dealership and was asking how your car was coming along and they said that they would check on it today.

Obviously they have been busy with other issues and that you are on top of all aspects of your GT350R so maybe give them a call and bring them up to speed.

With this being the first week of production for the R models since late November I suggest that your chassis number will be 1 of the first 100 assembled which is cool in my opinion.

I am hoping that with my car being scheduled to be built for mid next week that my chassis number will be 1 of the first 100 but whatever it is I will just be happy to have the car at home and able to start driving it.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks...

I'll give them a call next week, as I'm on duty this weekend. The last 4 of my VIN are 2081, so I hope to put the VIN in the system today and see if I can get a window sticker and maybe find out a chassis #.

I will probably see your dealership again today and will ask them to send you a copy of the window sticker via email unless you want to proceed on your own?

As far as obtaining a chassis number for your car I suggest that will be very difficult to determine and you may have to wait until you receive your car but never say never.

I will make some inquiries about the chassis number and will advise you what I find out via PM.

Good luck to all! After a month and ~1000 miles, I can agree with those who have already said it's worth the wait!

Yeah I figured trying to obtain that chassis # may be difficult, but I figured I would call FRP Monday and see if they may know, but I'll probably just wait till it arrives.

It they would email it that would be awesome ([email protected]).

Thanks, Harry!
