The latest kit should have the harness so the fan is controlled by the PCM.

The wiring upgrade that turns fans on @ 200 rpms and off with key. Its a two wire connector that plugs into the back IMRC connector at firewall.

I am adding this now.

Cool, let me know how it goes. I've only worked on a BMW on things like changing vanos seals and replacing valve cover gaskets.

Will do. This will be the most in depth install I've ever done on a car and I will be a spectator for most of it.

I'm not doing a converter any time soon because I am assuming with a converter comes half shafts and I won't be racing on the track until some time next year. As for tires I was thinking either NT05's or the MT ET II's.

Looks like I will have the Whipple by the end of this week and will do the install this weekend. I can't say enough about the customer service provided by Jay over at Hypermotive. I have nothing bad to say about any other vendors since I buy from a few different companies, but Jay's customer service has been top notch and I would recommend him to anyone. :clap2:

She's here!!!

Waiting on the dual fans and handheld from Whipple. I'm going to start the install tomorrow night and hopefully we should be done sometime Saturday. I will take as many pics as I can for those who are interested.
