FI on the west coast?

OK guys, I'm really new here! I had an 03' Lightning and getting upgrades for it was a piece of cake even though most of the stuff came from the east coast. I've been lurking in the FI section and am totally frustrated that everything seems to be on the east coast STILL. What about us guys on the sort of West Coast? I used to live in CA, but recently moved to Reno NV. Does anybody know of a good (reputable) shop near where I live to have a FI system installed and tuned. I'm almost 60 and no where near a mechanic, so a DIY project is out of the question.

Thanks. I was just reading a thread on the whipple dyno #'s and saw that user Whipple SC showed a location of Fresno. I used to live in Modesto CA which is only 1.5 hrs. North of there. Can probably get there in a little less than 5 hrs. from Reno. Now I just need to figure out how to brain wash the wife and convince her that 435 HP just isn't enough.

To awnser the question about Kenne Bell, yes they are very good with Mustangs. Check out thier website or do some web searching and you will see.

I know Whipple doesn't do any tuning in their Fresno location, but they may do installs. That being said, if you're doing a whipple kit, there are plenty of dealers up in Norcal. Then their tune is DIALED in and I would just recommend using their kit.

That sounds good, Norcal is closer to me than Central CA. I grew up in the Bay Area so am pretty familiar with that area. Does anyone have an idea of what it would cost to have the whipple kit installed. Too big a project for me, and I want to be sure the jobs done correctly since this is my DD.

PM me if you want some info in the bay area. Shop that installed my whipple kit, is taking new customers to do FI installs. They're in Los Altos.

Check in Redding CA ... Tons of hot rod shops there ...Cars and drag racing are very big there .. Redding would be very close for you .. You could also go to Fallon drag strip and talk to a few guys there , they may be able to help you find someone closer ..
