I've been playing with the 3.5 ecoboost for a few years now, I know how potent they can be. :ford: I'm actually doing a turbo swap on mine as soon as it gets back from paint.

I was tossed between the two, but I couldn't pass on a 5.0..
Oh I know, I love your truck.

Here is the newest dyno graph. Drawn today, by the car, on our Mustang Dyno.

I commented on the facebook post, but I wouldn't say this there. I feel that if you had faster spool with that much power, and no meth injection, I would be a customer tomorrow. But, I feel that a stock housing, slightly upgraded turbo, and some meth, and those numbers could be had at less cost.

That remains to be seen, and might be true, but the larger turbo will provide way more headroom if your eventual goals are beyond what the stock block will handle. And you won't have to buy things twice. Different strokes for different folks.

The graph is pretty deceptive - The torque curve looks lower than it actually is. If you notice it doesnt cross at 5200 like it should. If you move the torque line upwards so it intersects with the horsepower line at 5200 you will see that the curve is actually much better than it originally appears.

Impulsed7 I appreciate your insight, and look forward to your results ;)

Here is the graph scaled correctly with plots crossing at 5252, giving a better perception of performance.

Sup3rPat Anthony's car is using an AEM system at the moment. We have not finished testing of our proprietary meth controller yet, and we needed something quick ;) !

That graph looks like a more preferable powerband to me.

You're telling me. Powerdyne needs to write some software for this century, wth?

So a 7670 turbo can only make 405/385 at 29psi with methanol on the 2.3?

What will it make without meth on pump? Thank you for posting the dyno, I'd like to add this to the dyno thread, especially if you can get dynojet numbers.

Yeah it looks like the stock heads are a major bottleneck on this engine, which is really sad seeing as how well the 3.7 and 5.0 heads flow.
