If Dodge made the Challenger the same size as a Mustang then they would have a real winner. Right now its not only as big as a boat, but weighs and handles like a yacht.

But as sales show, americans love buying these boats.

Lol considering most of the cops around here drive Chargers that wouldnt be an issue either. You arent in a Mopar forum but that doesnt mean people cant like them.
Yeah - cop cars are all dependent. Some places still run Caprices. I've got no issues no matter what you like - it's all personal preference.

In my area - NC, I don't see Ford advertising the Mustang at all. F150s must get all the advertising budget.
I can't think of a Ford commercial that was NOT an F150. Or maybe an Edge/Escape but those are few and far between.

I seriously wonder where their ad agency's head is - they have other vehicles.

3 years ago they wernt selling for near as much as the 18 does now......
I think that's his point. Inflation sinse the S550 came out-

2015 1.9%
2016 2.2%
2017 1.7%

The 2018 price jump was around 9% (base) and much more with options. The way options are mandatory combined also jacks up the typical price. Sure you can still get a base GT for $35K MSRP but it used to be $32K. Yes, you get more HP and it's arguably worth it, but it's still a 9% MSRP jump. Most of the 401A package cars are pushing $50K, something that used to be impossible regardless of the options.

Which months? Feb 2018 and one month last year come to mind. And in Year end sales it's not even close with even the Camaro.
February 2018, August 2017, June 2017, September 2014 off the top of my head

Am I the only one that thinks selling 58-- Cars in the god awful month of Febuary is pretty good?? Great sales month. For the Challanger. That design still sings to people. OH and another good sales month for the Camaro also. I'm amazed they sold that many.:lol::lol:
It being winter doesn't matter. Because you're comparing the same time of year its essentially an apples to apples comparison when not considering the 2018 facelift etc.

This spring/summer will be the real test. If they're still down YOY, it's clear the '18 prices had a negative effect unless sales for all of them are also down a similar amount.

A base GT with PP1 and the 301A which means you get everything a GT premium has except leather surface seats. You save $2000.
$41990 msrp Also used the x plan and save $499 doc fee. You have to adjust the trade numbers up in order for the numbers to work. It’s like paying X plan price but $3743 less The doc fee is $100 $34669 includes destination charge.+ tax tag title. Total $7303 + $499. $7801 saved. To me that’s bang for the buck. I don’t miss the leather because my 13 boss had cloth. There were only 3 cars optioned out like this in a 100 miles radius. I would have ordered this exact car.

I wasn't comparing anything. I was simply stating. Selling 5800 cars in February. On a 4 year old design. Is good.

FYI, the biggest reason the Challenger sold the most in February is because of the new AWD GT model. Offering AWD was a genius move by Dodge.

For your viewing pleasure, I present the link to the Camaro sales thread on the Camaro6g forum.
The salt in that thread is impressive.

The Camaro6 has sucked in sales so far..but..the problem isn't the car..it's advertising?

Fucking dumbass! All the advertising in the world won't work if they go down to their local lot, sit in an uncomfortable 2SS that the dealer wants $46,000+ for.
