Thanks for the video! I ended up buying one of the JLTs for my V6 so I'll see how it goes.569 miles >>.
It should have no effect on the warranty because the item (at least the JLT ones) are literally plug and play. It takes less than 5 mins to add or remove. If you want to be safe, take off the oil separator and replace it with the OEM line when getting work done/inspections.Does anyone know if this effects warranty ? Is there harm in NOT having it ?
I do not believe it is as simple as open the box, remove the line, and add the oil separator like JLT's. That being said, the kit "includes bracket, hoses and all mounting hardware, as well as detailed instructions". Sounds like it only has a few more steps but should be an easy install regardless.Does Bobs install just as easy?
what about the one made by UPR? good or bad?
It appears that JLT does not make one for the EB currently. I think your options are limited to UPR or making your own unless others have found some from other manufacturers. So JLT does not make one for the ecoboost? What is the best ecoboost option>?
...? Why is that?I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing i had a jlt can in my car.
Use your eyes and look at the top of this page... haha. I have one installed and it seems to do a great job in my 2015 V6 so far (much better than having nothing). Not to mention I got one barely used for $60 off eBay.Have you seen it?
The filter is so small and out if place, it seems they built the can around that cheap filter they found.
I went with upr, VERY happy with the build quality.
mishimotoSo JLT does not make one for the ecoboost? What is the best ecoboost option>?
