I know the type...I personally feel that any separator on these cars is far better than none. I remember when simple water separator from a air compressor was what we used on the Gen 2 Lightings and on my old Terminator. Bottom line is anything keeping this junk from coating the back of the throttle blades and manifold is a welcome guest.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I was just joking around.

I have a JLT catch can. I wouldn't own a 5.0 without one. I opened mine after 600 miles and poured out about 2 - 3 oz. of oil. :frusty:

I changed the oil on the GT today. I opened my catch can and it was about a third of the way full. That was about 4500 miles worth. I emptied it out and clipped it back it, good to go. Seems to be working well.

initially checked mine every 500 miles was just a couple teaspoons or so, going with the 1000 interval
