I wish some of you fellas were close, so I could take u for a spin. If this noise is normal I'll accept that, but it's so loud I can't imagine it being normal.

Mine don't make a squeaky metal on metal sound but sometimes when coming to a dead stop I'll get a little something kind of like a humming sound from the front passenger side. Anyone else get this? It's only like the last few mph-0 too. Like 5mph down to 0 kinda weird but I thought brembos were known to be noisy so didn't think much of it.

have this too, it does feel like from the passenger side. step on the brakes harder it goes away.. its just that stop and go traffic pace is brutal.

I am not doubting you. My statement was a general one about high performance brakes and the associated noises that sometimes happen.

How many miles are on your car?

My GT PP brakes are silent. Really. They don't make a peep of noise ever.

The PP brakes are my favorite part of this car (other than the fact the pads produce a ton of brake dust).

They are amazing. Mine are very quiet too. 4600 miles quiet.

The noise described by most people comes in under very lite, low speed braking. After a high speed (140-0) brake check, I've never heard it again.

Maybe I'll try this. I did a 70-0 hard stop, and this quieted them down for a day or so.

You shouldn't have to go nearly that fast. A hard 70-0 should do the trick.

I don't have the PP GT, but I have the Premium with 4 piston brakes. I have been getting a slight grind/ humming when I press the brakes usually coming to a stop before I fully press the brake pedal down. Just started last week and I only have 4700 miles on the car. I'm thinking it's either the pads or rotor. I might replace the pads first to see if that gets rid of the grind/humming noise.

Here is the TSB for your issue.

mine started making a squealing noise too, only when using very light low speed braking.

i don't use the brakes hard enough apparently. i did a hard stop a week ago and it stopped doing it for a while but now its back. 11k + miles on the car btw, started happening a few thousand ago i believe. it doesn't happen all the time.

i guess i need be harder on these performance brakes. i mainly use the engine to slow down when approaching lights, etc.

Pick one lol
Yep. This is the third Brembo equipped vehicle I've had. The '05 Evo was the worst in regard to noise. If you can get on the brakes hard, it cleans out whatever it is that makes the noise (I suspect brake dust) and you're good to go for 1/2 the day LOL. My '12 Mustang was pretty good about remaining quiet in comparison. The '15 is more similar to the Evo in this regard.

This seems to be a bit different than what the OP is describing though.

I joined this forum at last because of this issue. There is a wealth of material here, but this finally did it for me. I have the GT PP with the Brembos and 4600 miles. Mine just started making this noise about 200 miles ago and is getting progressively worse.
I can fully accept performance brakes making noise. I've had them on my German cars, and now my Mustang but this is different. This only happens after the brakes are warmed up, between 5 - 0 Mph, and it is a deep, metallic sort of groan. Not the high pitched scream addressed in the TSB for the Ecoboost PP and GT Base. I did a standard bedding procedure around 200 Miles when the car was brand new. I can't seem to find a straight answer on the issue and don't want to go to the dealer over an hour away until I get some case logging from a Ford rep here. Any assistance would be appreciated.
