what exactly would you like to bet on?
I just posted that in the wrong thread. My mistake. There is another thread where a couple of people are betting me it will make 755+. I'm betting it won't.

I think the ~$13K difference, base vs. carbon is very close considering carbon fiber wheels are $14K-18K optioned on other cars (even with the cost "holdback" from the other wheels), plus a carbon wing (the ZLE OEM part is like $4K ...), plus the other components.

Assuming the handling package will be somewhere around $1500-2000, depending on exactly what's included (so far, it's just been suggested a different wing and the adjustable top mounts).

I like to disassemble things.
If you work it backwards using even dealer cost for R items such as the CF wheels, the price of the R itself comes out way ahead. Makes you wonder if some of the CF costs are spread out across every GT350 (as in, non R model GT350 cars helping to subsisize some of it).

My guess for the CF Track Package option for the GT500 would be no more than 11k, possibly less, given my example above.

I just cannot fathom buying this ride without the track pack. Seems like to much power to not have the best handling possible and put it down. And given there is no 'R", seems like ADMs are gonna be very interesting as there will be no distinguishing VIN for rarity.

I'm going with 750hp and 660t
3.3 for 0-60
10.7 quarters
a hefty 4080 lbs for a track pack
78k lowest optioned base, to 92k for highest TP

I wouldn't be getting the track pack unless I planned on going to the track a lot. Which I do. I was still seriously considering still not getting it though. Carbon wheels are silly unless you have phuck you money, which I don't. But, my best friend was the driving force behind how the track pack was developed. I can't get the car and not get his goodies. I wish the carbon wheels were another option though.
