I have a watery liquid dripping from bottom of car subframe which I believe have now located to the left hand side (under fuel injection intake) engine mount. Reading around I believe this is a vacuum system and contains a water/glycol liquid. Does anyone have any experience of this, and does anyone have any experience of changing this engine mount. How easy is it to change? How long will it last with no liquid and at what consequence ? Any thoughts welcome.

Yes, they’re filled with some sort of light weight oil. I’ve changed mine to Steeda’s polyurethane mounts. I used a flat jack, one jack stand and some telephone books between the top of the jack stand and the transmission bell housing to prevent damaging the transmission. You will need to access the motor mount stud nut, followed by the two mounting bolts from the engine bay. Jack the motor up enough for the motor mount engine bracket to clear the motor mount stud and then remove the motor mount. Reverse procedure for reinstallation.

Believe it or not, a couple of years ago, they were still throwing them onto our driveway. If you can’t find phone books, get yourself some newspaper and make a stack that’s about 2 1/2” - 3” thick , tape them together really good with duct tape and you’ll be good to go.
