Does the factory unit have pre outs amps? If not what did you go with instead?

Yes and no. The ACM can be programmed both ways, i.e. having powered outputs, variable line level outputs or fixed line level outputs depending on which car it goes in.
And it all goes through the same pins in the connector on the back of the ACM.
