Just curious is anyone knows what the box volume of the factory shaker pro sub box is? Mine is the 8" sub, 2015. Trying to determine just how big of a sub I can make work in the box. I am thinking about

0.62 cubic ft or 17L so for the 10" yours is very similar and could use this #

Thank you, I believe I can work a way to get a 10" in that volume.

Or you could just get a 10" enclosure from midway mustang or other because I think the 8" enclosure will lose its rigidity if start cutting it...can try though.

I have actually decided to go another route, just need to confirm I can grab the signal from the factory wiring, just before the sub amplifier. I have a 6 channel amp already and 2 tens, so I could just grab the signal and add another 10" and have three in the trunk. Have to build my own box though, but I enjoy doing that.

Does anyone know if the signal has already had the frequencies cut before the amp or does it it have a crossover in it?

I tried to use the factory sub signal and it was way too low to be useful. I ended up grabbing the signal from the rear speakers to feed my high level input of my sub amp, much better...

When you say low, do you mean the frequency that it is cut off at?
