Replacing factory Shaker 9-speaker amp - Questions!

So i have recently replaced my rear deck speakers with JBL GTO638's, front 6.5's with JBL GTO628's, and the front mid-range 3.5's with JBL GTO329's. I have disconnected the A-pillar tweeters since the 329's are two way with built in tweeters.
While a noticeable improvement, still not happy with the lack of power overall and lack of bass from rear.

So, I'm going with an aftermarket Alpine MVR-V500 5-channel (I may add a sub eventually) and was planning on using the Molex connectors from Mouser to tie in some RCA adapters at the factory amp input connector for the LF, LR,RF,RR signals. So it looks like I will lose the center channel completely.
Also, will I need crossovers to combine the front 628's with the 329's on the LF,RF channels? Or can they be wired in series (2ohm + 3ohm=5ohms)

Crazy how they do the factory signal processing!

Seems others have used the JBL GTO series as replacements as I did but swapping amps is now getting more challenging.

My goal is to have nice full range sound from front and rear with balance/fade capability and retain all NAV and hands-free functionality.

The big issue is there is not a flat audio response from the head unit, it is specifically eq'd for the OEM speakers. To flatten it out the best way requires a nifty unit from JL.

According to most others here in the forums, the signal processing is done in the factory amp and the head unit outputs are clean line level, at least on the Shaker 9-speaker system, from what I've been able to search.

This is true with all new amped Fords. They are out thinking themselves. I used the new JL Fix 82 on my F250. Not that great. Also tried AudioControl. Didn't like it either. Ended up just pulling out highs amp and much better.
These new amps handle all the DSP and it is really hard to get around it. Summing devices help not great if you truly care about high quality. Either replace speakers and deal with not very load volumes or rip the whole thing out and start over.

I upgraded the speakers with the intent of eventually replacing the factory amp; with full-range speakers in both front and back the main issue is the signal processing which seems to be in the steering of signals in the multi-channels created by the amp.
